Jeff,
I was just wondering how long it takes to get things. Appointment, make the clothes, get them, etc.
Thank you,
Dave H.

Dave,
While my shortest first appointment on record is 7 minutes from shaking hands, picking fabric, taking measurements to handing him a receipt, my average appointment is 30 to 45 minutes for picking out an outfit. It can be a bit longer if my customer has more questions or would like to peruse the entire fabric line. After asking some key questions I can usually narrow fabric choices down to a top 2 to 4 favorites.
The timeline for getting my ready made clothing is usually two weeks from ordering because we need to do a fitting then I deliver them after my tailor makes any adjustments. My shortest turnaround for a ready made suit was ordering it Monday and delivering Friday.
For custom made clothing 4 to 6 weeks is expected, depending if the fabric is at the factory or needs to be flown in from the mill/fabric house. Usually custom shirts come in first so I have them laundered and ready to wear when the suit/sport coat/slacks arrive.
Other accessory items like sweaters, cuff links, ties, shoes, etc. are about a one week wait.
Thank you for your question, Dave. Let me know if I can help in any way.
My best,
Jeff Collins, Professional Haberdasher
